My Story
Galaxy Geckos ZA
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
There was a girl who bought two baby geckos in April 2019, never imagining what it would turn into. She completely fell in love and raised these babies into adults.
In 2022 I made the Big Bang Change. After years of research, personal experience, podcasts etc etc, I decided to fully focus on Dalmatian Crested Geckos. I fell in love with the spots and noticed they were super rare. I started Galaxy Gecko Instagram and Facebook pages as I wanted to capture the journey from the very start.
I bought my first Breeding Pair Geckos in April 2022 to start my dalmatian project. Artemis and Super Nova. Both harlequins with dalmatian spots.

Looking back, I was crazy to choose such high pattern animals with spots, it took time to realise I needed a clean base with spots.
In June 2022, I made one of the best decisions, buying Pandora and StarStruck.

They grew up to be my corner stones in my red dalmatian project.
Over the years I bought more geckos to expand my bloodlines and projects and I have also started yellow/orange and red base projects. Vibrant geckos are the goal
And so my journey continued, learning, experimenting and evolving.
From the very start I focused on Ultimate Care and providing help and advice for new people. We all start somewhere and nobody is perfect.
Till today and as I continue, I will never stop learning about crested geckos, always trying new ways to keep them and improve their care. Just because you have been doing something for years, does not mean you know everything. There is always things we can learn and try to improve.

My Promise
I take pride in raising High Quality, Healthy, Happy, and Well-established crested geckos. Every gecko receives excellent care from hatchling to adulthood, ensuring they grow strong and thrive.
They are cared for and kept in the same conditions that any Pet Owner can. I believe in leading by example.
My geckos are well-fed on a balanced diet, have excellent hunting instincts through regular live insect feeding, and are use to gentle handling, making them confident and easy to work with.
I take the time to ensure each gecko is thriving before it is made available.
This is why I won't sell babies under 6g. I would rather keep them longer and raise them properly, to make sure they have the best start in life.
So you can bring home a healthy, well-started companion with confidence.
I will always be happy to help with advice, so please reach out and I hope my pages on FAQ and the Care guide will help as well.
And always remember...
Reach for the Stars !
Lots of Love
